The studio of Alberto Giacometti:
collection of the Fondation Alberto et Annette Giacometti; Centre Pompidou, 1994.
Lots of books on this subject, as there are lots of books on Francis Bacon’s studio, but I would recommend this one highly. You only have to look at these pictures to see why.
I went to the Tate Modern recently and amongst a whole exhibition of ‘Surrealist’ art including Dali, Ernst, Schwitters, Man Ray, Picabia and Duchamp, a little Giacometti sculpture ‘Hour of the Traces’ was my favourite.
